1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to AuraKin AI (“the Service”), a family management platform developed and operated by WedgeWoodAI (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including family members who have been invited to join a family group. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service. AuraKin AI is designed for parents, guardians, and adult family members to manage household and family information. Children do not create accounts directly — their information is entered and managed by authorised adult account holders.

3. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account with AuraKin AI, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Promptly update your account information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account

You may sign in using email and password, Google SSO, or Apple Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of whichever authentication method you choose.

4. Family Groups & Shared Data

AuraKin AI allows you to create and join family groups. By using family features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Data Sharing: Information about children, pets, photos, appointments, and health records may be visible to other members of your family group, subject to permissions set by the family owner.
• Family Owner Controls: The family owner (creator) can manage member permissions, including who can view or edit specific people, pets, and records. Owners can also remove members from the family.
• Invitations: When you invite someone to your family, they will gain access to shared family data according to the permissions you assign. Only invite people you trust.
• Messages: Messages sent within family conversations are visible to all participants in that conversation.
• Responsibility for Content: You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of all information you enter about family members, including children and pets.

5. Health Information Disclaimer

AuraKin AI provides tools to record medications, vaccinations, allergies, and growth measurements for your family members and pets. This information is stored for your personal reference and convenience only.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AuraKin AI only for its intended purpose — managing your family's information. You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Upload content that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorisation
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Share your invite codes publicly or use them to grant access to unauthorised individuals
• Enter false or misleading information about family members, particularly children

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

AuraKin AI offers the following membership tiers:

• Free: Core features with advertisements displayed
• Basic: One-time purchase that removes advertisements and unlocks messaging
• Premium: Monthly or annual subscription that unlocks all features including calendar integration, health tracking, and photo gallery

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, logos, and branding, is owned by WedgeWoodAI and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (photos, text, health records, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your family members.

9. Uploaded Content & Photos

When uploading photos and files to AuraKin AI:

• You must have the right to upload and share the content
• You are responsible for ensuring you have consent from any individuals depicted in photos, particularly when sharing within family groups
• Files are stored securely in cloud storage and accessible only to authorised family members based on permission settings
• We do not use your uploaded content for training, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the Service
• You can delete your uploaded content at any time through the respective sections of the app

10. Third-Party Services

AuraKin AI integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google Calendar: Optional integration for syncing and managing calendar events. You can connect and disconnect at any time.
• Google & Apple Sign In: Optional authentication providers for secure, passwordless login.
• Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions and purchases.
• Google AdSense: Advertising displayed to free-tier users to support the Service.

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service, you agree to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy. For details on how we protect your data, please also review our Security Policy.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. While we implement robust security measures, no system is entirely immune to vulnerabilities.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WedgeWoodAI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

14. Account Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may also suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy
• Your use of the Service poses a security risk to other users
• We are required to do so by law
• The Service is discontinued (with reasonable notice provided)

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We will retain your data for up to 30 days following termination to allow for account recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the Service or by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
